IIAOC Scholarship Winners

2017 IIAOC Scholarships

During the Michigan Young Agent (YA) Conference this summer, YA Past Chair and IIAOC member Erich Ehlert (left), along with Vice Chair Erinn Swan (right), presented, from left, Jacob Perry and Dan Diederich with Joan McFern & Steve Fetterman Memorial Scholarships. Worth $1,000 each (they also give away a $500 scholarship), this college tuition scholarship honors two wonderful agents who were committed to our industry. Both students are from Oakland County and plan to make careers out of the independent agency system.

Who We Are

The Independent Insurance Agents of Oakland County (IIAOC) brings together area independent agents and vendor friends to share ideas and to pursue community charitable endeavors as a group. We provide scholarship funds to students pursuing insurance as well as supporting Haven, a shelter providing services to victims of domestic and sexual assault.

There is no better local organization than the IIAOC for building and fostering peer relationships with fellow agents and those in surrounding businesses who support our industry.
